AUGUSTA– Maine Republican Party Chair, Dr. Demi Kouzounas, issued the following statement regarding Senator Collins’ historic win:

“Throughout her career Senator Collins has delivered for the people of Maine and on Election Day the people of Maine delivered for her,” said Chair Dr. Demi Kouzounas. “While D.C. Democrats did their best to tip the scales of our elections with millions of out-of-state dollars, Mainers held the line and told the country that we can not be bought.”

“Congratulations to our Senator on a well deserved win. For over a year, Susan Collins has received an insane flood of negative ads and false attacks from dark money groups. While these out-of-staters pulled every trick in the book, Maine voters saw through the smoke and mirrors and elected the person who fights for them.”
