AUGUSTA – Maine Republican Party Chair, Dr. Demi Kouzounas released the following statement regarding the recent announcement that she has been named RNC Northeast Regional Co-Chair:

“I am incredibly honored to take this new leadership position with the Republican National Committee,” said Chair Dr. Demi Kouzounas. “I look forward to bringing my insight and experience as a state party chair, doctor, veteran and mother to lead the northeast and strengthen our party across our region.”

From re-electing Senator Susan Collins in one of the most difficult races in the country, to delivering back to back victories for President Trump in Maine’s Second Congressional District and gaining ground in the Maine House of Representatives, we have built a party with a strong reputation for success and a field program that has been recognized many times as a national leader.
