AUGUSTA, Maine — The Maine Republican Party will join Lead Maine, Maine Civic Action and the Christian Civic League of Maine for two free Turn the Tide Fall Festivals in Auburn and Bangor this October.
The first festival will take place Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at JT Reid’s Gun Shop, located at 24 Garfield Road in Auburn. FOX News contributor and conservative commentator Mary Katharine Ham will appear as the special guest speaker.
The festival will also feature live music from the Dave Perlman Band, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, corn hole and lawn games. Maine GOP personnel will be available to speak with attendees about what Republicans can do between now and November 3. Lawn signs will also be available.
“These Fall Festivals are about bringing Maine families together around the values that matter most: common sense, community, and protecting the future of our state,” said Maine Republican Party Chairman Jim Deyermond. “We are proud to stand for everyday Mainers who are ready to turn the tide and get Maine back on track.”
A second festival will be held Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crosspoint Church, located at 1476 Broadway in Bangor. National Review columnist and Independent Women’s Forum senior fellow Caroline Downey will serve as the special guest speaker, with live music from Hurricane Mountain.
Both events are free and open to the public. Attendees can reserve their spots at TurnTheTideMaine.com.
