Meet your candidates!

Maine Republicans will be working around the clock to re-elect Sen. Susan Collins, send Republicans to Congress, take back the Blaine House, and flip the Maine State House chambers!

US SENATE - SEN. SUSAN COLLINS

Meet Sen. Susan Collins

Susan Collins was born into a family with a strong tradition of public service and commitment to Maine. She is a proven leader who is respected by colleagues on both sides of the aisle, is consistently ranked the most bipartisan Senator, and she has been recognized by her colleagues as one of the hardest working members of Congress.

Susan has a long record of significant legislative accomplishments in such critical areas as health care, improving the economy and growing jobs in Maine, helping Maine’s small businesses thrive, education, national security, veterans, and helping older Americans.

Meet Ron Russell

Raised on a potato farm in Maine, he learned the value of family, faith, and hard work at an early age. His father, a decorated World War II veteran, and his older brother, who served more than 20 years in the U.S. Army before becoming a federal judge, both helped shape his commitment to service.

Inspired by his brother and father, he applied to West Point and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry in 1976. He went on to serve more than 30 years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger and Special Forces-qualified Green Beret, retiring in 2006.

After his military career, he worked in the defense industry and helped build a small business that grew to more than 150 employees. He returned home to Maine in 2021, determined to help get the country back on track through his campaign for U.S. Congress.

Meet Gov. Paul LePage

Paul LePage knows what it is like to struggle. Born into a broken home, Paul’s father handed him a 50-cent coin and told him to tell the doctors he fell down the stairs as he lay battered in a Lewiston hospital. 11-year-old Paul LePage took that coin, and left the hospital. He never returned home. Homeless, finding work and a place to sleep day-to-day, it was a horse stable worker who told him, “If it is to be, it is up to me.” Paul took that phrase to heart, finished high school, earned a college and graduate degree, and went on to become one of New England’s most successful businesspeople, creating jobs and growing the economy.

He was elected, and re-elected Mayor as a Republican in one of Maine’s most Democratic cities and then served as Maine’s Governor, creating jobs, growing the economy, protecting Maine’s senior citizens, and always looking out for taxpayers. Now, he’s running for Congress to bring no-nonsense leadership to Washington. Because Mainers deserve a straight talker who always puts them over politics.

Meet Bobby Charles

Bobby grew up in Wayne, Maine, where his mother was a public school teacher. From her—and from the World War II veterans who mentored him—he learned about sacrifice, service, and what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself. Those values carried him from Maranacook High School to Dartmouth, Oxford, and Columbia Law—not to leave Maine behind, but to return better prepared to serve it.

He has spent his life protecting our nation and serving our communities. Bobby’s public service began in the Reagan White House. He led global counter-narcotics operations, worked with allies to dismantle global drug cartels, and helped secure America’s borders from lethal threats.

Bobby Charles is committed to building a safer, stronger Maine. As governor, he will fight to reduce crime, enforce common-sense policies on homelessness, cut burdensome taxes, and hold government accountable. He believes in protecting Maine’s communities, improving education, and ensuring economic opportunities for every hardworking citizen. Bobby Charles will always put Maine families first.
