Senator Stacey Guerin is currently serving her first term in the Maine State Senate. She represents the people of Senate District 10, which consists of the municipalities of Carmel, Corinna, Corinth, Dixmont, Etna, Exeter, Glenburn, Hampden, Hudson, Kenduskeag, Levant, Newburgh, Newport, Plymouth and Stetson.
Senator Guerin currently serves on the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement and Commerce Committee and the Labor and Housing Committee.
Prior to her service in the Senate, Guerin served District 102 in the Maine House of Representatives and served as a member of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee and as the Republican Lead on the Judiciary Committee.
Senator Guerin and her husband Joe have five sons and own a family-run small business in Veazie. She is also a former teacher and an active volunteer for several organizations and causes within her community. Guerin especially enjoyed being a 4-H leader and her involvement with the Penobscot County Master Gardening.
A Kenduskeag native, Senator Guerin studied early childhood education at the University of Maine and taught 2nd grade at Eddington Elementary School.
