BANGOR– On Tuesday, June 18th, Trump Victory and the Maine Republican Party held 9 ‘MAGA Meet Up’ watch parties across Maine to celebrate President Trump’s re-election launch in Orlando, Florida. At these watch parties, volunteers and activists gathered together to show their enthusiasm for President Trump and garner support for his re-election bid in Maine.
These ‘MAGA Meet Ups’ are part of Trump Victory’s ‘National Week of Training’ (NWOT), an initiative designed to kickstart GOP grassroots efforts and re-engage the massive base of volunteers who will be crucial to helping re-elect President Trump in Maine. Across the country, all 50 states – plus Puerto Rico, Guam, and the American Samoa – participated in these ‘MAGA Meet Ups,’ with more than 700 events scheduled and over 12,000 supporters attending. Here in Maine, there were 9 MAGA Meet Ups’ happening across the whole state.
“As President Trump officially launches his 2020 bid, volunteers and supporters across Maine are ready to get to work to re-elect President Trump,” said RNC Spokesperson Nina McLaughlin. “Through the National Week of Training, Trump Victory is engaging hundreds of volunteers right here in Maine and adding to our massive base of support across the country. The MAGA Meet Ups across our state reflect the continued enthusiasm Mainers have for President Donald Trump.”
