ELIGIBILITY

NO DONATION OR PURCHASE NECESSARY. This giveaway, sponsored by the Maine Republican Party (“Sponsor”), is open to legal residents of Maine who are age 18 or older. No donation or purchase is required to enter the giveaway. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Staff, Maine Republican Party State Committee Members, immediate family members and/or those with whom they are domiciled of the Maine Republican Party (MEGOP), are not eligible to enter the Giveaway. To be eligible, Giveaway participants must be natural persons at least 18 years of age and lawful residents of the United States at the time of entry and comply with these Official Giveaway Rules (an “Eligible Participant”). A current, valid US State ID, Driver’s License, US Passport, US Uniformed Services Card, or US Resident Alien/Permanent Resident Card must be presented to claim a prize. Each winner will be required to prove his or her eligibility before receiving a prize. No donation, or purchase is required to enter or win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren, whether by blood, adoption, and/or marriage. The term “domiciled household members” refers to people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year. Only one winner per household or family is permitted.

GIVEAWAY PERIOD

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, and ends at 12:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025 Eastern Standard Time. All entries must be received by Maine Republican Party by 12:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025, Eastern Standard Time. The Maine Republican Party is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries. All entries shall be for this drawing only and will not be used in any future giveaways after the current giveaway is completed.

HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE, DONATION OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS GIVEAWAY.  To enter this giveaway, the participant must fill out the electronic form via the link on the Maine Republican Party Facebook page. Eligible Participants may enter only once. A Participant, by filling out the form, certifies that he or she has complied with the terms of these Rules. Further, the winner of the Giveaway must comply with all requirements imposed by the Sponsor, or his/her participation in the Giveaway will be ineligible for consideration. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants. Incomplete or illegible entries are void. Non-compliance with any entry procedure will result in disqualification.

WINNER SELECTION & QUALIFICATION

On Monday, December 22, 2025, or at some later date determined in the sole discretion of the Sponsor (the “Selection Date”), the winner will receive a message from the Maine Republican Party with information on how to claim the prize.

One prize winner will win a $500 gift card from a Maine retailer of their choice. One prize winner will win a $250 gift card from a Maine retailer of their choice. Only one prize per person.

Decisions are final unless later determined to be ineligible. A selected entrant who has not successfully filled all the mandatory fields will be ineligible and will result in a new name being selected from the qualified entrants. The prize winner may be contacted by phone, email, or through social media and will be required to complete and return a release form in order to redeem their prize. THE PRIZE WINNERS’ NAME MAY BE PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED. Failure to respond or claim the prize within two (2) days will result in forfeiture of the prize, and the Sponsor will randomly select an alternate winner.  This process shall continue until the prize has been awarded.  ALL WINNERS’ NAMES MAY BE PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED. Giveaway winners are responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes assessed on any prize received.

SUBSTITUTIONS

SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE THE PRIZE WITH ANOTHER PRIZE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE. PRIZE IS NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH OR CREDIT, IN WHOLE OR IN PART.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

By entering this Giveaway, entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Giveaway. All Maine, federal, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Return of the prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.  By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, “Giveaway Entities”) from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Giveaway, or from the use or acceptance of any prize. The Giveaway winner is responsible for all expenses not covered or included with the prize. The Giveaway winner is under no obligation to use or redeem the prize.  The Giveaway Rules will be posted on the Giveaway Web page throughout the Giveaway duration, except in the event of technical difficulties. Maine Republican Party reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or Giveaway Web page; to be acting in violation of the Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY WILL RESULT IN SEEKING DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE CREDIT UNION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO JUDGE THE VALIDITY AND/OR ACCEPTABILITY OF ALL GIVEAWAY ENTRIES BASED ON ITS INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES. THE CREDIT UNION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE GIVEAWAY PARTICIPANTS AT ITS OWN DISCRETION.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Maine Republican Party is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Giveaway. Giveaway Entities assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. If, for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other reason which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this giveaway, Maine Republican Party reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE GIVEAWAY SPONSOR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES EVEN IF THE CREDIT UNION HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
