Democrats across the country had a lot to digest this weekend after the San Luis Obispo Tribune last Thursday released court documents from 1996 proving Tara Reade had spoken of harassment in Joe Biden’s Senate office.

And while it’s understandable Jared Golden and his fellow Democrats might be confused how a local paper could out-scoop the New York Times in their investigation of Reade’s claims, they’ve officially had enough time to process the news.

Yet despite this new evidence, Golden is silent and the media won’t ask him to comment. Pretty different than how Democrats and the media treated Brett Kavanaugh in 2018, right?
