Democrat Double Standard

Two years after rushing to attack Brett Kavanaugh, the Democrats are singing a different tune about Joe Biden’s sexual assault allegations.

Scrambling to unify their message, the Biden Campaign requested that The New York Times amend their report by eliminating the acknowledgment that Biden engaged in “hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.” Then, Biden’s campaign rushed out talking points to his allies instructing them to cite the report as evidence that Reade’s allegations “did not happen” – a narrative that a New York Times spokeswoman dismissed as inaccurate

Nevertheless, Biden’s unwavering squad of Vice Presidential hopefuls, failed candidates Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, and Stacey Abrams, bought-in and sold Biden’s manufactured narrative.

Biden and the Democrats who lined up to defend him might consider a single news report enough to discredit Tara Reade, but they had a much higher standard two years ago when they demanded an FBI investigation into allegations against Brett Kavanaugh. At the time, Biden claimed “you’ve got to start off with the presumption” that she is telling the truth.

Bottom Line: By attempting to preserve Joe Biden’s already failed path to the White House, the Democrats are caught in their own double standard. Mainers see right through this failed attempt at a cover up and won’t be rewarding Biden in November.
